Its been a really exciting time here on the farm. Everything is vibrant green and growing bigger every day. We have been planting sunflower seeds, baby trees, dahlias and working on our thinning off some of our baby fruitlets because our bees did such an amazing job this year. In our Tasting room we are thrilled to be debuting some new summer time refreshers including our new Draft Root Beer, Peach and Cherry Seltzer (All Non Alcoholic Drinks) For our Libations we have our New Alpenglow Hefeweizen, Hazy Perscpective IPA & our Cherry Lime and Raspberry Lemonade Hard Seltzer. I want to warmly invite you all to come and enjoy our refreshments soon by making a Reservation Here or come sip in our Beer Garden (5413996665).

Yes the Grateful Garden requires no reservation and is OPEN Friday, Saturdays and Sundays so come sip with our in our meadow as well. We also love sharing our libations to go so head on over and pick up some refreshments for the weekend. (On tap in the Garden is our Raspberry Lemonade, Rootbeer, Alpenglow Heff, Hazy IPA, IPA and Pilzner (ID required to enjoy all our drinks). Remember all our libations are made with our fresh fruit and are made on site.

The Fruit Stand OPENS with cherries, apricots and berries on Friday July 2nd, 2021 from 10-5pm daily. We also sell all our libations inside our Farm Stand as well so come and be refreshed. We love it when you guys bring boxes and bags from home so feel free to bring your own containers too. They are welcomed back this year (5413526828 for any questions).

We love being your farmers (also fishing on our down times). Thank you for your endless support and care of our farm through all the decades. See you soon on the farm.

xo your grateful farmer, Trina

Grateful

The grateful farmer is a blog about a woman who left her job in the the city to come home to save the family farm.  My desire is to candidly share my journey learning how to farm a 50 acre Orchard at the base of Mt. Hood. I invite you to follow along as I share seasonal recipes, childhood memories, farming successes and failures. Please enjoy the Orchard photos collaging the beautiful seasons and harvests here at Mt. View Orchards. I am grateful and humbled that are you are reading along and want you to know that my farm is your farm.

Honeycrisp apples are a favorite @mtvieworchards and today we are going to be sharing some forward with our local food bank. Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavanoids, and dietary fiber. The phytonutrients and antioxidants in apples may help reduce the risk of developing cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease. @mtvieworchards we believe everyone deserves to enjoy the best of our 2018 local apple harvests. We have them in our farm stand as well if you want to pick some up for your lunches. #mtvieworchards #afarmthatcares #afarmthatgathers #afarmthatgivesback #apples #honeycrisps
